LOW-CARBPlanning for Low-Carbon Mobility

https://programme2014-20.interreg-central.eu/Content.Node/LOW-CARB.html
INTERREG Central Europe 2014-20202018-2020LOW-CARB was a transnational project in Central Europe increasing the planning capacities of organisations and city governments to transition to low-carbon mobility and transportation. It tackled burning issues of Sustainable Urban Mobility Planning such as integrating low-carbon mobility measures for users, creating institutional cooperation and fostering joint financing, as well as facilitating Functional Urban Areas with creating action plans that make low-carbon transit a reality. PROSPECT2030PROmoting regional Sustainable Policies on Energy and Climate change mitigation Towards 2030

https://programme2014-20.interreg-central.eu/Content.Node/PROSPECT2030.html
INTERREG Central Europe 2014-20202019-2021PROSPECT2030 project focused on good governance as the key driver to unlock the energy transition towards a low-carbon economy. Seven regions across Europe were involved in the consortium: Eco Energyland (AT), Friuli Venezia Giulia (IT), Mazovia (PL), Piemonte (IT), Split-Dalmatia (HR), Saxony-Anhalt (DE), Southern Great Plain (HU), with the aim to promote a better use of public funds dedicated to low-carbon measures while drafting energy action plans in order to shape the energy transition in their regions. governance, energy planning, financial model, action planPiemonte Region

Carbon Farming CEDevelopment of Carbon Farming in the Central Europe

https://www.interreg-central.eu/projects/carbon-farming-ce/
INTERREG Central Europe 2021-20272023-2026Carbon farming is the process of changing agricultural practices to increase the amount of carbon stored in the soil, or to reduce greenhouse gas emissions from livestock. It has huge potential but is still underused in central Europe. The Carbon Farming - CE project wants to change this and make regions more familiar with the concept. The partnerhip adapts and tests various techniques and business models and develops a monitoring tool for transnational, standardised carbon sequestration.agriculture, rural regions, carbon storage, financial modelAgriculutal Institute of Slovenia

MESTRI-CESmart Management and Green Financing for Sustainable and Climate Neutral Buildings in Central Europe

https://www.interreg-central.eu/projects/mestri-ce/
INTERREG Central Europe 2021-20272023-2026A climate-neutral central Europe requires a drastically reduced energy consumption of buildings. However, renovation is often costly and complex. The MESTRI-CE project introduces a new investment model to finance more climate-friendly buildings that guarantee sustainability. The model covers both the supply and demand side of the renovation market and builds on data collected and tools and green standards developed by the project.energ efficieny, public buildings, financial modelNorth-West Croatia Regional Energy and Climate Agency

Hercules-CEEnhancing the energy transition in Central Europe with the support of renewable energy communities

https://www.interreg-central.eu/projects/hercules-ce/
INTERREG Central Europe 2021-20272024-2026Central Europe is phasing out fossil fuels but related costs remain high. Extensive investments in renewables and energy efficiency are needed. Renewable energy communities (REC) can help with that. They enable collective and citizen-driven actions, such as the production and sharing of renewable energy. The HERCULES-CE project promotes the introduction of these communities strategically and in local pilot actions. The partners test innovative data-driven approaches to evaluate the business models of new and existing communities. The partners also monitor and evaluate the communities’ environmental impacts and their potentials for reducing energy poverty.renewable energy, energy transition, energy efficiency, citizen involvment, energy community, financial model, energy povertyEmilia-Romagna Region

Solar4CE-CitiesBoosting urban solar revolution for Central Europe

https://www.interreg-central.eu/projects/solar4ce-cities/
INTERREG Central Europe 2021-20272024-2027A wider use of solar energy in urban areas is often hindered by insufficient policy frameworks that lead to administrative, technological, and financial barriers. The Solar4CE-Cities project helps cities to change this by promoting the prosumption approach. Prosumers are citizens or entities that not only consume but also produce renewable energy and thus contribute to decarbonise their communities. The partners assess existing prosumer schemes, create new business models, pilot prosumer communities, and involve stakeholders to increase solar energy adoption in cities.solar energy, urban planning, strategy, energy community, financial model, municipalityMunicipality of Budapest
